The Russia and Ukraine war is a tragedy.  However, as in any war, profiteers gain.  India buys cheap sanctioned Russian crudes and sells refined products to EU, US defense contractors provide Ukraine with weapons, and the Chinese supply desperately needed industrial and electronic parts to the Russians.

Now that the fatigue has settled in with the belligerents and their backers, and with the incoming Trump administration's stated goal to end the war, an ending is indeed on the horizon.  Who would benefit from the war’s ending and how should we position to gain, in addition to a sigh of relief for ending the suffering?
